I just finished baking these! Very yummy. But mine came out a lot puffier than the ones in your photo, even after I flattened them a little with the back of the spoon before baking. Any idea where I could’ve gone wrong?

I adore this little ode to all of cookiedom. They are a favorite treat in our house with my husband recently deeming one of my largest storage jars the designated home for such baked goods. He now uses it as an excuse to request I bake more cookies, as it would surely be a shame to let the jar go bare. I do believe that these beauties will be found residing in our pantry in the very near future.

my philosophy is that there is a cookie to match every mood, event, or celebration… however, double chocolate matches every day for me :)
